Once they come back the next year, they become more tolerant to the heat in your area. The first year I had mine it was drooping everyday. Now she stands tall and proud even in 90°+ weather. Just make sure to water everyday lol

I wonder if this is just a problem with them for the first year. We have hydrangeas surrounding our home and they are the most low maintenance plant we have!

Some are WAY more sun intolerant than others. Yours look like shade lovers. Here’s a few of my 6 foot tall Incrediballs, they can handle half a day of sun, but still want lots of water!

The color is based on acidity of soil, throw your ground coffee grounds in there and water!
