Do you guys watch the show at all? I don’t understand why people keep saying that Gil-chae didn’t deserve him. She lived in a time when chastity, marriage, and a woman’s reputation were extremely important. Meanwhile, he kept insisting that he was against marriage and only wanted them to date for fun. In Episode 2, Gil-chae literally said that she wanted a husband who would only look at her and adore her. People call her selfish or dumb, but I disagree. She is one of the strongest female leads I’ve ever seen. She made decisions based on the reality of her time and circumstances, and despite everything she endured, she survived, adapted, and kept moving forward.

I feel bad for people commenting he doesn't deserve her, or her not deserving his love, if we all saw the same show how could you not see how hard it is for the fl. 💔 She is a woman who suddenly grew up as the story unfolds, she is a fighter, and definitely stronger than ya'll think. It's sad knowing people watches yet didn't really grasp the characters role.
