I honestly very rarely talk to the nail service tech because they’re soo focused and see so many people in one day it’s also exhausting for them to be social non stop so I usually let them lead they make small polite talk and get on with their craft and I am happy to read or scroll. If they feel chatty and I feel chatty too I am happy to chat. But I have to say I live in Dubai we have a different experience than the uk the few times I’ve done my nails in London the only words exchanged where nails related

I go to a Vietnamese walk in nail salon and the staff wear masks and there's a TV on right in front of customers so I just sit and watch TV which suits me fine.
