My second was born 8 weeks early and was in the NICU for 35 days while my oldest was only 19 months. It was literally the hardest time of my life. You will get through it and even the hard days when they’re both home will be easier than what you’re living through RN

My 2nd and 3rd both had NICU stays. The mom guilt will hit hard, but you just have to keep telling yourself he’s exactly where he needs to be and you can’t do it all! And once he’s home it’s just a little blip in his entire life. ❤️you’ve got this!

Mama of 4 and two of them were 1-2 months in NICU. Take a deep breathe and know that everything will fall I to place. I feel the more pressure us moms put on ourselves to “do all the things” to make the transition “easier” only created tension and stress which is what our kids pick up on! If you are cool and calm and act the way you want your kids to act then that is usually what will happen.

I had to do the nicu mom thing years ago. My oldest did the same thing. I promise it gets easier. They adjust just like you do.

It was so hard splitting myself between my two babies they are 14 months apart. I always prioritized my oldest first because I felt that he knew when I was not tending to him. as long as the baby was safe, I let baby cry for a few minutes longer just to comfort my first. Now that they can play together and do things together, It’s been a lot easier to spread myself equally, and spend time with both of them. It was super hard for me. I didn’t even wanna leave him to give birth, but it does get easier with time.
