jumping spiders actually are extremely smart, and are even thought by some people to be somewhat self aware. so it's entirely possible that when the spider made the "grabby arms" that they WERE basically asking to be picked back up cause they enjoyed it, unlikely? yes, but possible still!!!!!!

bugs life irl documentary on disney+!!! you will love it! the ones at our house mostly live on our windowsills & eat the bugs that are trying to eat my houseplants so i’m friends with most of them & know most their names 🥰some are very shy & never make contact (they just kinda stare & wave) but others can’t get enough of plant lady (me btw)😌

I made friends with one recently too! I could sense he wanted to get from the chair I was sitting in to the one next to me so I made him a little bridge and he crossed over it and then hung out for another 30 minutes!
