I would never tell my husband I don’t like something that he went out of his way to get me.

Fun fact, I DO think that arrangement is adorable. But even if I didn't I would still love them because the person I love took the time and effort to get them for me. Yeah I might mention that I prefer roses (he already knows that) but i would still cherish them simply because they were from him. Him being my husband in case that wasn't clear.

From the age of 4-5, I was taught to say “thank you” when given a gift…whether I liked it or not. It’s basic manners.

If my husband does something for me I say “thank you” if I don’t like it maybe say “hey thank you so much but next time maybe can you do it this way or get this instead” but I would never ever set up my phone and publicly shame my husband for doing something nice for me that I didn’t particularly like because my relationship is between him and I not the entire internet

I'd never complain about the flowers my husband buys me. It's not about what he picked out, its the fact that he thought of me and made the effort to do something to make me smile

If somebody doesn’t like my cooking or I don’t like somebody’s cooking, there’s no way and how I would tell them I didn’t like it. That’s just rude and to do so every time you don’t like something they cook is even more rude. No one wants to hear that.

My husband spit out my chicken last night. I tried frying with non gluten flour because I’m recently diagnosed with celiac. It didn’t work. 🤣 He spit out the first bite and said oh babe that’s bad! I took a bite and agreed that it’s bad. This did not work. He laughed and said that’s the first time he’s ever spit out anything I’ve cooked. We both laughed. If he’d posted it on social media, that would have been rude and disrespectful. It’s not cute to do that to your partner.

Or she could just be appreciative it’s the thought that counts and he had the thought he went out and got flowers and then she did what she did
