how much filament does this use? wouldn't it be cheaper to buy something? I understand it's modular. but for me I don't think that out weighs the filament cost.

You should add a few variations with a hole in the back to hang them on the wall, and caps to cover extra holes and maybe some supports that could plug into the bottom for more support

likely more economical to get generic storage modular solutions from ikea. this is only useful if you need exact dimensions and/or functions, like gridfinity stuff.

This is the last kinda thing anyone with any sense of craftsmanship does. Using a 3D printer to print flat panels to make boxes. The worst use case scenario for that machine. So much plastic, so much print time, so little structural integrity. This could’ve been made from a few cheap wood or acrylic panels in a matter of minutes. 3d printing would’ve only made sense for developing a proprietary router jig for your connector system and then the connection hardware itself.
