If we're talking about authenticity then sure, Lupita Nyong'o is a little bit of a weird choice to play a Greek woman, but also casting a bunch of anglo actors like Tom Holland, Matt Damon and Anne Hathaway to play Greeks is equally as weird in my opinion. Let's not be selective about it. I also have a similar issue with the Gladiator movies, as much as I like them, and it annoyed me when people were complaning that Pedro Pascal was cast as a Roman... like dude the Romans were the original Latins, and he's like the only Latin man in the cast. He belongs there more than anyone else.

My only issue is that they seemed to have just picked the most famous actors currently and threw them into the movie. Like I can’t get absorbed into the movie when TOM HOLLAND is playing TELEMACHUS 😭
