@leahshomestead: We're heading out on a 3-day camping trip that we planned nearly six months ago, and normally that wouldn't be a big deal... Except my parents are currently in Kenya on a mission trip. 🌍 That means someone is already taking care of their chickens, greenhouse, and garden while they're away. Now, on top of that, my sister is helping with our rabbits, kittens, and everything else that still needs cared for while we're gone. This is one of those things people don't always think about with homesteading. The animals still need fed. The water still needs checked. The gardens still need attention. Life doesn't just pause because you leave for a few days. We're incredibly thankful for family and for living on a family compound where we can help each other when needed. ❤️ Now we're trying to get everything ready before we leave and hoping my sister still likes us when we get back. 😂 #Homesteading #FamilyCompound #CampingTrip #HomesteadLife #RootsAndRabbitsHomestead
