comment „bloom” and I’ll send you the link. *the site uses heavy animations, so you need a strong computer. it runs well on my macbook but my older PC was struggling a bit I made an app that creates a unique floral mosaic every time you click generate and I did it all in a few hours with @trycursor I created hundreds of tiny ceramic tile elements that arrange themselves into a living artwork, gently animating after the canvas fills. Here’s how I did it: - I designed my elements first, - wrote my master prompt and used Plan Mode let it think through the whole approach before writing any code. Which meant I wasn’t fighting it for hours trying to fix things that should have been planned for. - added my tile library, and floral references into Cursor. I used Composer 2 because it’s genuinely fast and built for complex multi-step tasks like this one — it handled the entire mosaic algorithm, the colour matching across hundreds of tiles, the animation system, all in one go. - I wanted to add animations to make the art alive. First, the staggered reveal animation using GSAP- it took a few tries to get right. Then loop animation that happens after, I wanted so tiles to pulse, some to get slightly bigger. Cursor handled all of it - the cherry on top was adding hand tracking reactivity - MediaPipe Hands running through the webcam, mapped to canvas space, with Framer Motion handling the spring physics so the mosaic ripples like the surface of water when my hand moves over it. What would have taken me days to figure out by myself happened in a a few hours. That’s the part that still feels surreal to me. this is app 5 of my 12 apps in 12 months challenge. comment „bloom” and I’ll send you the link. #ad Paid partnership with @trycursor #cursor #CursorCreator #generativeart #motiondesign
