@rethinkmentalillness: We believe everyone experiencing mental illness deserves access to timely support. That’s why we were so pleased to see one MP using her platform to share her own difficulties accessing care. Jen Craft MP, who lives with OCD and bipolar, shared her speech in parliament for Mental Health Awareness Week. #bipolar #ocd #mentalhealthmatters #fyp
My beautiful boy never got the much needed support he needed, Despite his rapid decline and high risk. He was so poorly, Sadly he passed away in May and I am now fighting for truth.

I have the same two diagnosis’s, can we have DVLA send my 27 years clean driving licence back which they’ve had since October 2025 so I can continue to get to work and also live well?

I have had appalling OCD care, zero offer of ERP, just basic CBT over and over that was obviously not helping, I've had to pay to go private to find anything remotely helpful

We do live amongst. We are not other. We are not less. We are capable and able and sometimes require support. Like everyone. We are strong and resilient. We have to be. Good proactive (and reactive if required) care can be life-changing and is absolutely deserved. Inconsistent, patronising and absent care is life threatening. Thanks for standing up and helping people with SMI be seen. People absolutely need to see us. I have Bipolar and I too have had to advocate when I can for myself for care at times. It shouldn’t be a fight. I too have had outstanding care that has been profound and has saved my life. This needs to be standard. 🥰

This brings tears to my eyes.. The obstacles of living with depression and just wanted to give tablets and the short term therapy touching the base then left abandoned.. Work places who create hostile environment and use strategies not to support.. Workplaces need to be accountable when they add to trauma..
