Communication style mismatch You might be direct, quiet, sarcastic, or expressive and not everyone connects with every style. 6. You’re overestimating “hate” This one’s important: not every cold look or lack of enthusiasm means someone hates you. It could just be indifference, distraction, or their own bad day.
