Growing up we had this old rice cooker and it was easily older than me by like 10 or so years. One day it died on us and we had to get a new one but I swear we had the best rice out of that old one.

I see it's aluminum. if you care about your brain health, a stainless steel pot for the rice cooker would be a smart modification to your rice cooker. yw

Tip for every Filipina out there...rice cookers have a small fuse in one of the wires under the bottom cover. Usually the fuse blows, and you can simply remove the fuse and splice the wire back without it. It will work again. Just be sure to insulate the spliced area
