Remember kids are evolutionarily programmed to grin and bear it so they can survive into adulthood. They are also blank slate humans who always think their childhood is normal and what every other kid has, be it a farm paradise or schmexual abuse. A reminder when kids don’t complain to like, a teacher or go to the cops or whatever…
