I guess I struggle with this because if the good I do is because of God, then the evil I do is also because of God? Of course not. So that's why my actions and consequently my talents or lack thereof I ascribe to myself. And the "realistic" view I have of me is low. Yes, I have been gifted with many qualities by God. But I have ruined them. Or not done anything special with them. It's squarely on me.
