@shesrightshow: any talk of a left pipeline devolves into a debate about one-upping each other in ideological purity along a political spectrum into luxury space communism, instead of a funnel to achieve any good real goals big or small. #politics #liberal #democrat
I feel like Hasan Piker helps in this. I started watching him 3-4 years ago, and have been introduced to a multitude of other voices on the left; some that I watch more than Hasan now.
The only point I don't think there is alignment, is a clear and concise call to action. Besides, supporting a candidate; as well as fundraisers. However, this is more of an issue of not having top-down support; I'm not saying I want a financial fund. Instead materially, by prominent democratic representatives not acting on any of the awareness these left creators bring. A lot of these creators acknowledge this, by saying you have get involved in grass-roots organizations. However that isnt really actionable if you live somewhere where a physical forum like that isn't avaliable.

Issues… there is no money to it. No millionaires or billionaires going to fund this. Most of the alt right pipeline are funded by millionaires/billionaires. There is no money in helping people sadly 🥲

The Candidate Coach :
In my experience, the left views this awareness to conversion pipeline as icky. As if the pipeline itself is morally repugnant, not the aims of the people using it effectively. And when someone on the left does embrace this pipeline, they’re demonized for being “no better than” the right (take Hasan Piker). The siloing of information is another issue, one that’s rooted in a scarcity mindset that has convinced orgs and campaigns that if they share they’ll get less, not more. Anyway, would love to think through solutions with you!

Socially Liberal :
I think the solution to this is to become a working class party that will almost always have the back of unions or worker co-ops. the Democrats lost the Evangelical vote when they gave up the working class and we could get them back if they know we're on their side but the problem is the Democratic party is run by people who get consultant kickbacks for selling tv ads so they just want to get corporate money so they can sell ads and the TV stations give them a kick back.

in terms of YouTube channels, I genuinely believe that Overly Sarcastic Productions and Extra Credits/History are the closest things we currently have to entry points to a left wing pipeline
