So his parents describe him as a vegan pacifist according to a news article I read, and he's a good hiker, was upset that his mom used Chatgpt to make the itinerary due to environmental consequences. Said he needed some time. He got off at Yamashina station. I am not thinking I am smart or anything, I'm just hoping based on this that the police checked Enryaku-ji Temple? I haven't seen that in a news article, but they offer training, lodging, pilgrimages. He would have had a 6 hour hike there from the station, there is a path nearby. He could be faster if he is as good of a hiker as his parents said he is. Idk. I just read through the temple's programs and it sounds right up his alley based on the scenario and description. He could have been trying to get there, or got there.
