Update: safe with BARC foster! 4/1 Euthanasia List: #A2065090 Spot, 1Y, Male, HW- This guy had one of the biggest 180s I’ve ever seen. I walked up to his kennel and he was shaaaaaaking, whale eyed and looking at me like 👀 what do you want. However, his tail was wagging so hard the entire time so I knew I’d get it out of him. Once I got him out of his kennel he was SO happy. He loves a good butt scratch/rub down more than anything in the whole world. He’s super friendly and energetic and did well sniffing the other dogs down the kennels. He’s a hoot! Intake: 1 white w/ black spots pit mix dog, Dog name is Spot missing all his fur. Multiple people live in unit constantly in and out, Dogs owner has not been seen in days. People in the unit not caring for the dog/ letting it in the house Medical Notes: 3/29/26: S/O: generalized areas of alopecia/hair thinning/errythema A: skin scrape negative, ddx flea allergy/atopy/food allergy/demodex/color dilution alopecia/endocrine P: advantage multi applied at intake, may need dematology work up BARC Animal Shelter 3200 Carr St HTX Please visit the links in my bio if you can adopt or foster! I cannot always monitor comments and messages. Fosters must be local and the shelter cannot hold for an adopter. Pledges toward rescue are appreciated!
