I feel like everyone that enters the Backrooms it makes another version of themselves in it but not until after they leave bc it’s still collecting their memories the first time being in there, but if they stay the first time he could have been lost trying to find a way out

It’s kinda eerie is you think about it because Mary did escape but she didn’t escape fully because what the backrooms do is the more it remembers the less it does and since Mary has been in the backrooms for quite a bit it remembers her but it can’t seem to get it right and since she now has a still-life of herself a part of her is always gonna be stuck with the backrooms just like the others.

The back rooms remember who people have been in it like different versions of them that’s why they look distorted. for example, imagine you’re talking to someone or playing telephone and you say a word to them and you repeat that word to a bunch of different type of people it’s not gonna come out perfect the last time it’s gonna be wonky.
