Best advice I ever got. When they wake up for a feed in the middle of the night, turn the lights on bright. Make them stay awake for feed. After feed, put right back to bed. They will stop waking for feeds quickly! Because it becomes very inconvenient and annoying to be awaken in the middle of the night! If they just doze at the breast it doesn’t take much effort for them and they just look to be soothed constantly when they really do need good stretches of sleep at night!
