@trenpreacher: Morocco has reached a major milestone in its clean energy transition with the signing of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and the start of construction for the Noor Atlas photovoltaic solar programme. The initiative will deliver 305 megawatts of solar power from six plants across the country. Authorities expect the facilities to begin supplying electricity to the national grid by July 2027. The Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (Masen) and the National Office of Electricity and Drinking Water (ONEE) jointly announced the development. Both organisations are implementing the programme to expand renewable energy generation and strengthen the national power system.
