I don’t have a problem with playing a FL game but , for some reason I am not hyped enough for this one, “one of the “ reasons I loved GoW franchise is because of kratos and how cool he was , and that’s it.

Them moving away from Kratos was the next logical step imo. They made the series more narrative heavy and Kratos’s character to me went full circle after Valhalla. If they continue to focus on Kratos then he’d eventually go bland or would eventually have to regress his character to make the story more engaging

Also, I think its highly disrespectful to use a live model, and then the developers literally changed her face to make her less attractive. It's not that Kratos is THE God of War it's that Kratos IS God of War the franchise. He is what makes the God of War franchise God of War. He has been the face and leading figure of the GOW franchise for literal decades. It would be like replacing Lara Croft in Tomb Raider with a man and calling it Tomb Raider. Lara Croft is the Tomb Raider franchise just like Kratos is the God of War franchise.
