I've always flown American. I have their credit card and get very small perks like a free checked bag and a slightly earlier boarding group. This year they decided that if I buy their cheapest flight I can no longer earn miles on that flight. Like, wdym I'm not earning miles on the flight that I bought from you and flew with you? 😭
