I got passed up on a promotion because I "wasn't mature enough" to do the job I'd already been doing for 5 years. They hired someone and she fucked books up SO bad they asked me to fix it. Told them my hello kitty shoes prevented me from doing that kind of work, since that was one of the "immature" things they cited when passing me up. 🥰🥰🥰

My boss did this once. Even made herself my co-presenter at our national conference. I called out "sick" and she embarrassed herself in front of the entire company bc she literally had no idea what she was talking about lol.

I created a revenue tracking tool that provided insights to data they didn't have for 10 years. My boss told me it wasn't necessary to spend that much time on it. When i quit she asked for the formulas and i left her on read 🤪

I did the same thing when I first became manager when I reorganised our entire stock for it to make more sense and then I just put it all back to its original place and asked the person who took credit for it to place it exactly back to where it was before

My boss did this in a meeting once and I spoke over him and said “oh thank you for presenting my idea! You’re missing some of the details and actually that table isn’t the complete data set I sent you. Do you mind if I hop in here and walk everyone through it?” 😂

Someone tried to do this with a complicated excel workbook that took me weeks to put together and format properly…when it was time for him to present it, I password locked the workbook so he looked dumb af not even being able to open “his” workbook. When the password window popped up in front of everyone, he glanced over at me and I looked back at him and said “well, do you remember what you set the password to?🥺” 😂😂😂

My boss took credit for a set of matrices that I made on Excel. We kept the original Excel document saved on the hard drive of the computer, so she could always access a clean copy. When I quit, I deleted the saved file. I hope she figured it out. Especially since she told everyone that she created it.

My boss took credit for a national project that I did all by myself. I took the weekend to collect my thoughts, told him about it and how disappointed I was in his actions and asked how we could move forward. I did this in person. His head slumped down and he apologized. He then announced on the next call that he took credit for the entire project and that I deserved the kudos. Several months later, I was moved into his position.
