I appreciate that PSHE and RSE exist in schools, but I don’t believe they’re given the depth or importance of core subjects like Maths and English. Yet so many of society’s biggest struggles heartbreak, loneliness, toxic relationships, family breakdowns, and mental health challenges are rooted in emotional and relationship skills. We teach people how to earn a living, but perhaps we should spend more time teaching people how to build healthy lives, relationships, and communities too. 🙏🏾🤎

Let me help you with that wording. The man doesn't acknowledge or recognize the woman is upset until she files for divorce because until she does that he doesn't take the things she is saying seriously. Most women voice their unhappiness for years and their partners dismiss her as being "too emotional". Everyone, including women, need to start practicing "active listening" and "validation of feelings". It doesn't matter if you don't agree with their feelings. Their feelings are still very real.

Notice how women spend YEARS putting up with mens bullshit and stayed hoping things would change, but then eventually only stayed longer to debate if the relationship was even worth saving anymore, then we choose to finally leave and heal because we deserve to not lose ourselves while hoping a man will even care to change. Because that is how it normally works.

Just because you did t notice her unhappiness does not mean it wasn’t there or communicated with you. It just means you weren’t paying attention. Women will go on and on for years trying to be heard. You only notice when they give up
