Men have always failed up. They are handed over titles and money and land just because they are male. Men are given kingdom’s with no clue how to run the kingdom simply because they are male. Men are failing themselves because of themselves. Evolution has had to step in and that y chromo has been degrading for a while now and continues to decline with each new generation born but of course that’s a woman’s problem. My advice to men, stop trying to hold onto things you don’t deserve and worry more about your future existence.

My mother was a first generation feminist who worked, in part, with Gloria Steinem. She died not too many years ago and she would be so saddened to see this backlash 50 years later over battles that were won, and should have stayed won forever.

If voting were by household i imagine the caveat then would be only the nuclear family would qualify. Single mother homes would not be eligible to vote. What a load of horseshit. Every adult in our society has an equal vote; NOBODY’S vote carries more weight than anyone else’s. Looking at you, Alberta.

As a 42 year old man, I am so ready for the patriarchy to end. This uptick in misogynistic fervor feels to me like a last gasp of defense from men who don't want to lose their advantage and power over women. All I can think lately is how much progress we could have made by now had women been the ones at the head of society's table. I am ready for it. Burn the patriarchy.
