In my dorm I had posters of LeBron, Kobe and MJ. I went home for the weekend and when I got back to school- the Kobe poster had fallen. Those posters had never moved once until that day.

I remember my mum told me about Kobe's death. We aren't even from America, she never watched basketball. Bron passed him on the scoring list the day before, emotional day. Felt like a hoax

still remember exactly where I was when I heard. In Home Depot aisle and my wife called me. She doesn't know sports- said can't be Kobe- you mean Kareem? And then looked up the news on my phone and teared up in middle of Home Depot
