Empty and rinse the can. 2. Remove the top and bottom. 3. Cut down one side and flatten the aluminium sheet. 4. Place it under a heavy book for a few hours to remove most of the curve. Step 2 – Create the Templates 1. Find or draw templates for: * Chassis * Floor pan * Side panels * Bonnet * Roof * Front and rear bumpers * Spoiler 2. Scale everything to the size you want the finished Hellcat to be. Step 3 – Transfer to Aluminium 1. Tape the templates onto the flattened Monster can. 2. Position the graphics so the Monster claw logo ends up on the bonnet, roof and doors. 3. Trace every piece carefully. Step 4 – Cut the Pieces 1. Cut out all body panels. 2. Leave a few millimetres extra around edges. 3. Trim gradually until each piece fits perfectly. 4. Sand all edges smooth. Step 5 – Build the Chassis 1. Fold and glue the floor section. 2. Add support pieces underneath. 3. Make sure the chassis stays perfectly straight. Step 6 – Form the Hellcat Body 1. Bend the side panels by hand. 2. Shape the wheel arches using a pen or marker barrel. 3. Curve the roof section slowly. 4. Attach: * Side panels * Roof * Front section * Rear section Step 7 – Add Details 1. Create: * Hood vents * Front splitter * Side mirrors * Rear spoiler 2. Use leftover aluminium scraps from the can. 3. Shape each piece with tweezers before gluing. Step 8 – Install Wheels 1. Drill tiny holes for axles. 2. Fit model wheels. 3. Ensure all four wheels sit level so the car doesn’t wobble. Step 9 – Final Assembly 1. Attach the bonnet and bumper pieces. 2. Touch up any uneven edges. 3. Polish the aluminium with a soft cloth. 4. Clean away glue marks.
