At this stage of her life, she should be spending her days enjoying cuddles, treats, and making precious memories with her mom, dad, and sister. Instead, Sophie is facing a difficult health battle. Recently, Sophie developed several lumps on her body. After multiple veterinary visits, tests, and examinations, her veterinarians have advised that these masses are cancerous and need to be surgically removed. While there is hope, the road ahead come with ongoing veterinary appointments, surgery costs, medications, and aftercare expenses. Anyone who has had the privilege of meeting Sophie knows she is far more than a pet. She is family. She has brought years of unconditional love, comfort, laughter, and companionship to those around her. And if you know her mom, Dawn, you know how deeply loved and treasured Sophie is. Dawn is the kind of person who is always there for others and rarely asks for help herself. However, the unexpected medical expenses have become overwhelming, and right now we are asking for a little support on Sophie’s behalf.
