I love Ha Ha Tonka (can also be a great workout) but one I would also REALLY recommend Taum Sauk Mountain!! Mina Sauk Falls is beautiful

City museum, Taum Sauk state park, Busch wildlife, forrest park, St. Louis arch national park, museum of illusions, Bosch town go carts (show them love I know the owner they want to buy more carts with your help), main event, fugitive beach, north 18 central (good for adults), stl foundry, sky zone, you can literally fish almost anywhere with catch and release, scavenger hunts in St. Louis, fast lane full of over 100 classic cars, top golf, Kokomo joes, west county mall, silver dollar city, lake of the ozarks there is a lot to do here

actually for KC, find s place to park near UMKC or city market. That is both ends of the free trolly, hits all the good points of KC.
