What is a dark pool? → Private exchange where institutions trade large blocks without public visibility What is a dark pool print? → A record of a large trade that executed off the public exchange How to read the data on Unusual Whales: 🟢 Above ask = institution paid a premium to buy = bullish urgency 🔴 Below bid = institution accepted a discount to sell = bearish urgency 💰 Size = bigger than average daily volume = significant 📅 Repeat prints = same ticker printing multiple days = accumulation What I look for: → Large prints ($10M+) above the ask → Same ticker printing repeatedly over 2-5 days → Confluence with a technical setup on the chart One print = noise.
