I'm so sorry 😞 I'm also on a grief journey and I have sadly discovered that it makes people uncomfortable. Every person that I thought would be there for me has vanished. I don't think they understand that we need to talk about our loved ones and not tip toe around it.

There is this interesting thing that society does when someone dies. We give condolences, flowers and go to funerals but after that we act like the death is past us. But it never is. So the people who are grieving feel so alone in it. I think we as a society need to figure out how to support people years after a death and to remember to talk about the dead and to take care of the living.
