Ok as a Maryland girl, you're doing good!! Obviously canned meat is not preferred but if that's all that's available, that's ok. Most local restaurants use stale white bread as a binder. The only recommendation I would give is to add the filler first and then fold the crab in last. 🥰 We use ground mustard too but Dijon works too! They look good!!!

Small tip to everyone, with the lump crab meat, empty into a strainer or slotted pan first. This gets rid of excess can moisture and also pick through for any shell (bc there will be a few pieces)
