Declining Vitamin K is an enormous, life threatening decision to make for your helpless newborn baby. I almost want to refer my patients who decline it to palliative care to discuss with a doctor there because I struggle to get them to understand the enormity of their decision.

I declined vitamin k for my son and wouldn’t change a thing! There’s risks to everything risks to giving it and risks to not!! Worry about yourself and your kids and stop worrying about what other people decide to do with their own children!
