you're so adorable first off. 🥰 Secondly, IF you bring oils...bring just one. ditch the slippers. the socks are better, they will get nasty but the floors are slick af so just wear the socks, cooling mist i wouldnt bother with, the ice packs, just use theirs honestly. I 100% agree with the peri bottle def take that.i did not need the little silver cups until a week after birth. they have stool softener for you as well. wont use the nipple butter. everything else in your video..totally agree with. less is more. they have so much they will give you. I brought my own towels cus theirs just absolutely are awful. I also took my babys newborn book and had them put his little footprints in it and had the nurses sign it. they left little notes, it was honestly super cute. 🥰

bring your own dark shower towel!! and would absolutely recommend if you can getting wooden labor texture hand squeeze balls helped way more than the comb did!!

I brought my own frozen colostrum in syringes so if baby was jaundice or not latching well we could use the collected colostrum instead of supplementing with formula, the nurses put it in the freezer for us when we checked in, and gave it back before we left! It’s a great option if you’ve been trying to collect or hand express any yet at home💕

Gum for after birth, after ease drops, you might want your own towel the shower towels there are really small usually

I would add an eye mask for bedtime. The nurses come in so often and turn lights on 😩.

A pack of wipes!! They will have diapers but with my second they ran out of wipes and the first poop was almost impossible to clean with no wipes! 😳 Lolol

Nursing bra, socks, comb, yes. Essential oils - I would skip!! Most hospitals won’t allow plus it might just make you overstimulated (it did for me🤣)

Definitely second whoever said their own bath towel! And a heating pad if you have one!! I used mine up until I got my epidural and they wouldn’t let me use it anymore but also helped a ton afterwards

Keep the stool softener at home.. you can’t take anything they don’t give you and they WILL give you that 🙌🏼 I second the no pads. Diapers are the way to go. It’s so much easier and faster esp with how often nurses are in and out of your room

I’m pregnant with my second and due in September. Something I loved having was a portable sound machine because we planned on using one at home. I wish I would have had my own gown so that’s a good idea! For baby make sure those sleepers have the built in mittens. My sons didn’t and he scratched the crap okay of his face.
