It just makes no sense why would you cast a single person to play twins? I can see if she was already extremely famous and they just wanted her face. But she wasn’t extremely famous or some child star already. It would’ve made sense to cast twins. So yea… I believe they were most likely twins.

So a childhood friend of mine who was in the parent trap. She was in the camp scenes. She confirms, Lindsay was not a twin but there was a “double” to stand in when they filmed the “twins” talking to each other or walking side by side with one face not showing
