That's probably the most correct thing ever said. 150 hours of rdr2 and it mainly because it's diluted by the most mediocre gameplay imaginable. One billion glazers who have never experienced good pacing and good gameplay will cry over this.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is a good example of a game that had a powerful story, great artistic direction and didn't overstay it's welcome. It was short, sharp and beautifully done. Worth every damn dollar

I agree but disagree within the context of god of war (2017). Ragnorok should have been half as long, sure, but it was still worth it and I’m sure Laufey will be worth it as well. It’s an interesting point, especially considering the older games themselves would be less than an hour if they strictly laid out the artistic points and minimized the combat encounters to their bare minimum or best sequences only.
