So I decided to make my dream come true by dedicating three months to seal rescue and rehabilitation as a volunteer with Seal Rescue Ireland, the only seal rehabilitation centre in Ireland 🇮🇪 The charity’s mission? To rescue, rehabilitate and release seals back into the wild, while also educating the public about these animals and the best ways to respect their space and wellbeing. Since April, my days have revolved around feeding, cleaning, and caring for the seals. It can sometimes be physically demanding work, but it is always rewarding — especially when rescued seals finally make their way back to the sea 🌊 😰A true hospital for seals and funded only 5% by the Irish government, Seal Rescue Ireland relies almost entirely on donations and money raised through visitor tours and events to cover the cost of food, medication, veterinary care, and the day-to-day running of the charity. 💸On average, it costs €2,000 to care for a seal from rescue through to release back into the wild. 🦭 Since the beginning of the 2025–2026 season, Seal Rescue Ireland has already taken in 235 seals ! 🩵 That is why I am doing a fundraiser in support of the organisation: 100% of the profits raised will be donated directly to Seal Rescue Ireland to help provide care for rescued seals. 🖌️For every donation of €10 or more, you will receive a bookmark featuring a watercolor painting of Buddstone “Buddy,” my favourite seal 🥺 🙏🏻 If you would like to support this cause that is so close to my heart, every donation — no matter how small — helps give a seal a second chance to return to the sea. 👉🏻🔗 The fundraiser link is in bio, in the comments, or DM me and I send it to you ! ✨ 🥰Thank you so much for your support and generosity, and please feel free to share this fundraiser with others ! #seal #funny #silly #edit #fyp
