@mad86806: I have convinced myself to think that @Noah Kahan wrote this song for volunteers, shelter workers, fosters, rescue advocates - all of the above. All of us are constantly advocating for these dogs while comforting them, singing to them, loving them even though we’ve just met them. When the world seems to have forgotten them, we howl for them too. We become their voice, telling everyone that they are still here, still worthy, still ready for someone to love them, still waiting for their moon. A2078007 Olive Oyl just seems like a very special girl. She was petrified and shaking nonstop until I picked her up to cuddle her and then she just melted. She seriously could’ve stayed there all day long, and I would have let her if I had the time. She’s (somehow) not on the euthanasia list yet, but I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her so I’m posting her now in hopes to get some eyes on her and gauge some interest. She is so deserving and I see so much potential in her. Just because she’s an anxious pup doesn’t mean she’s broken or less deserving of love or doesn’t deserve the moon.
