For the Nike add, the director is portraying the nowadays coaches who restrict players with tactics and doesn’t allow them the creative freedom to play and enjoy the game. N that’s obvious on the first scene when mbappe tries to do a bicycle kick but the manager insists on him to hit the ball with his head. Plus there were a lot of easter eggs on Nike’s video that u need a certain level of football knowledge and to rewatch the ad many times to notice them. Plus it's about rip the script, do your won thing as a player, do what you want to do for the passion you have plus the goals goodbye, they are talking about the end of an era. Plus at the end the come with the suspense and unexpected happenings in football when we expect the boy to have the ball but it's haaland that gets it

Icl, ts was cool but the adidas ad was way better. The adidas ad had a story to it and better vibes and cinematography, the Nike ad was lowkey just a delicious mess, just a whole bunch of chaos with A-list celebrities to draw attention. The way I see it is if I watched the adidas ad without the stars in it, it would still be interesting but I can’t say the same for the Nike ad
