I love Mahina (Queens in Waikoloa and Waimea) Coconut Ave is another good one. Check out the Saturday market in Waimea too! all of the local food trucks and shops aren’t going to tell you the “mainland is that way” like some people in these comments. They need the business.

Just be careful with hot ponds, they’re still water now since the lava flow. Was my favorite spot before. Can go in just don’t get in ears, mouth, or open wounds and shower right after
