Thankfully when I started my process, everyone/everything to do with family already had been registered. I decided to go to Portugal on vacation in Aug 2024 so made an appt with the Registo in town to submit application. Thankfully by beginning of Oct 2024 I received approval email. Went to consulate near me to finish process and got Citizen card by Dec 2024. I lucked out ❤️💚💛 Good luck!

Am I like the only person who didn’t have to wait a whole year for my citizenship? It was maybe a few months. My daughter’s was even quicker than mine

took me a full year. check in at the one year mark. if it was ready earlier then I don't know because I gave it a year to check in
