this was another problem. MJ thought making friends with people who had similar childhoods as him was a good thing coz they'd understand him. The problem is this makes you marinate in your pain and magnify it. He needed normal friends, problem is he started showbiz so early he had no time to form any meaningful childhood friendships & his siblings were getting married so early so the bond was weakening.
