@americantravelarchives: This is your sign to visit one of the most underrated museums in the U.S. Follow americantravelarchives for more hidden gems and bucket list adventures across the U.S. 📍American Sign Museum – Cincinnati, Ohio Walking through this place feels like stepping into a neon time machine. From vintage Vegas-style signs to hand-painted 1940s advertisements, this museum preserves over a century of American signage and roadside culture. You’ll see everything from funky motel signs to old-school fast food logos, and even working neon workshops where you can watch real sign artisans in action. It’s a full visual experience — bright, nostalgic, and surprisingly inspiring. 🎟️ Admission: $20 adults | $10 kids 🕒 Open Wed–Sat: 10AM–4PM | Sun: 12PM–4PM 📍1330 Monmouth Ave, Cincinnati, OH 💡 Pro Tip: Don’t rush it — there’s a lot of cool history packed into the signs you’ve probably never looked twice at. And the recreated “Main Street” exhibit? One of the best spots to stop in town. Tag someone who needs this kind of throwback road trip — or drop your favorite roadside stop across the U.S.!
I gotta go here, it's not too far from me! I got married in Vegas 3 weeks ago thinking we would drive into town and be greeted by cool neon lights, or we would drive around at night and see a bunch of cool neon lights. They're all gone basically. We went to the Neon Light Museum in Vegas but this looks cooler!
