I used to be that kid. But nowadays I’ve grown the art of detachment and in turn I fear it’s turned me into an avoidant type of person. It’s easier to let go than to hold on to what you’re unsure of… and it’s hard because I fell in love with a girl who feels these emotions of loneliness and just wanting companionship 24/7… I love her I really honestly do-but I don’t know how to break down the barriers I’ve spent so many years building.
