as a die hard Jax fan (not that i justify his actions tho, i just like her a LOT) Im glad he wasnt un-abstracted, cuz the happy endings are so exploited nowadays, ye i wish i would have had her back, but i genuelly rather him staying abstracted, i would be happy yet dissapointed if not

Thank you! I'm not the biggest fan of Jax (not as bad as a lot of tye fandom) but it felt like so much was rushed to tell Jax's story. Like I get he's the main character but he's not the ONLY character. A talk with Kinger and Caine would've been fascinating, but everything felt like it was dedicated to the shippers. One of the biggest attractions to the show was the existentialism of being trapped in a digital world and they kinda got over it in a montages. Also, maybe it's just me, Jax's backstory didn't help my perception of him, it actually made me see him worse.

i honestly don’t know how to feel about this ending 💔 part of my problem is for the past 8 episodes, there was so much raw emotion and anger / pain / anxiety from everyone about wanting to leave and figure out what happened to them, and then whenever caine(WHO DOESNT EVEN EXPLICITLY SAY WHAT THEY ARE.) tells them the truth they just accept it?? like immediately??? most of them had been in there for years and had memories of the past and wanted to see their loved ones or live their lives again, and for it to just cut to them having happy picnics was honestly so upsetting. i wished they would have showed way more of the characters coping with the truth than jax’s entire life story

I have a theory that Goose works had a better finale written then the pressure of the shows success became too much so they just wrote the most fan service ending ever to make all the fans happen. Why else have it be the happiest ending ever and even have one of the romantic ships hook up in the credits.

Lowk feels like episode 7 should have been the last episode, maybe 8. Ep 9 feels like Goose changed her mind how to end it or felt influenced by the fandom (and also projected wayyyy too hard on Jax like cmon he’s an amazing side character, terrible main character)

I just don’t see the complexity of Jax even before episode 9 he was just an insecure bully with a sad backstory, and he never changed from that, and I did find him funny for the first 3 episodes but then i just got bored of him doing fked up shit and facing no consequences, I really wish gangle could’ve been happy Jax abstracted would’ve been cathartic for me personally, or maybe just like a little unhinged giggle that zooble then looks at gangle with concern

I agree because like my favorite character is gangle I was happy for stupid things like to see her Room or even a thing that I was super happy is the fact that we see her appear in the circus why is she called gangle but à think that I really wanted too is more of her screen Time maybe like 2 or 4 minutes of her First day or backstory because she have a cool one too talk about also it’s Not because she My fav since the First day of episode 1 but like more of her talking yes okay she is a secondary character but she is still important in the story and knowing that we Will never have a episode again that she is so under use and her biggest scene being the scene With jax just a funny scene like îm soo sad and I talk for gangle but like kinger,raghata and Zooble they are important too and like some part of jax Pov that Last for Idk 50 % of the episode some parts Were use less and these part could be use for other backstory of the others or lore like c&a nothing scratch nothing or like kinger Said almost nothing in this episode like I think that ribit and cofmo talk almost more than Zooble ragatha gangle and kinger in like 3-4 épisode for some of them maybe more and bringing back caine feel like she didn’t want to kill here character like in stranger things and like you I was scared that jax Will Come back some part of the episode is good but I feel like jax took too much Space pomni to and that like ribit and kofmo Were more important than the rest of the 4 other characters knowing that is that Last episode and that ribit and kofmo are just in one episode and that there no more episode and the others or left over forgot that make it very upsetting so as a conclusion the characters of gangle kinger ragatha and Zooble or forgot less important then ribit and kofmo and that jax take all the episode for himself With some part kinda useless

I totally agree! Like no other character got such a deep dive into their backstory , most of the other back stories were just lightly referenced or implied. I feel we were all hoping to find out more about scratch, the company that made the digital circus and its OG purpose. The reason each character decided to get scanned in the first place. I didn’t care what their real life human counterparts were doing now, I cared why they got scanned and if they knew about the circus today. Super unrealistic all characters in real life had perfect lives too.

No matter how you feel about it you thought Jax should unabstract or should stay abstracted what really got me is that it really felt for a lot of the portion we were focused on them it did feel like they were going to unabstract. So when they didn’t it was just like well wtf we do all that for. For example when pomni entered their mind space and there’s the portion you see pomni reach out to Jax who’s falling. That scene to me made me feel like okay maybe this is reversible. Then she goes through his mind space learning the truth about them. Like you said a bunch of stuff we already kinda know. Then at the end she’s just pulled away and that’s it. Well why did she do any of that in the first place if they didn’t want abstraction to be reversible? She risked her own abstraction basically so Jax could get a lore drop. Then when it shows Caine has access to the mind files. Like okay why’d we need to see scratch arrive in the circus. I genuinely thought we were seeing scratch being uncorrupted.

I swear, 50% of the episodes is useless. The episode was weird, the script was poorly written and sometimes hard to understand because they focused too much on trivial details.

I feel like you could have done the similar plot but with different pacing. Simply fixes this by them exploring everything as it breaks down. This world is in a computer so have them find the files in this world like what happens in episode 2. They find out about their real selves through that with C&A tracking the people who put the headset on. This makes Jax abstract as they find out about his past. This happens and you can spend time on it. THEN kinger says we will die if we can't stabilize the circus we need caine. They find caine and make a deal to keep them alive and slowly forgving him with every action he does in the future.
