So real! Worked in tech in Silicon Valley for many years. I had to quit and move away for my mental health because it was so sanitized and soulless. East Bay and SF are nice though!

yeah they started in the bay but y'all are giving them too much credit. by that time the bay was the center of innovation and thats solely because of the military. the bay was forefront of weaponry and defense.. companies like Lockheed Martin, general dynamics, Northrop grunman were developing here. so HP didn't create silicon valley. they're just a by-product. another prime example of useless and wrong information being spread without any form of fact checking.

It was always suburbs, and I don’t think it was really planned this way.. it was more so just that the cities here just kept building more single family housing and now there’s no land left to build, but the population keeps growing
