Migrants aren’t the ones keeping 72 houses ~ 3 blocks full of 2 story houses at 3-5 bedrooms each, EMPTY here in Townsville no that’s the Defence Force… completely empty marked for relocation have been empty for at least 6-8 months!!!

I am always curious what people who think we have a migration problem think the labour market would look like if there were less. Hospitality, childcare, aged care and health care are literally held together with migrant labour.

No one ever had an issue with me, a Norwegian, living in aus when I did - taking up housing, jobs and whatnot. Its like people dont actually mind migrants, they just mind the «wrong» migrants. 🙄

People also forget that Migrants are actually helping to resolve our Skills shortages…Carpenter, Bricklayer, Painting Trades Worker, Plasterer, Roof Plumber, Wall and Floor Tiler, Electrician, Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic, Plumber, Electrical Linesworker, Cabler are skills in critical shortage hence why we encourage them to migrate here on temp visas to help fix the housing shortage..
