IMO, trans fluid should be done every 30k. Since a drain and fill usually gets less than half of the old fluid out on most vehicles.

Dorman makes a pan that has replaceable filters in it and you can use Valvoline fluid,been doing it for years.

Changed my 2014 ram’s trans fluid and pan at 60k miles, slowly developed a torque converter shutter. Super frustrating. Can’t win either way

Bro what!! The most somebody should pay for any trans service is no more that $600-$700, and that’s only if you’re doing a full system flush, which requires more fluid. But a $1000??!!! 😳

And alldata says “may or may not be equipped with a drain plug” had to tell the customer it might be $300 or it might be $900 if you don’t have a drain plug 😭 they declined

Valvoline Maxlife Synthetic ATF covers the ZF 8 and 9 speed. Saves a ton of money.

A little pricey do them all the time it about 15 dollars a qt liquid Moley for 9 speed trans at world pac and the pan with the filter build in is around 150 Thur world pack

For the live of God but ZF parts and fluid not Mopar. ZF is the manufacturer of that transmission. You can get the ZF pan for like $150 and ZF lifeguard 8 (the recommended fluid by ZF) is $19 at FCP Euro.
