@fitwithkobby: If you don't feel hip thrusts in your glutes, your setup MIGHT be the problem. A small adjustment in foot and knee position completely changed how the movement felt. Most people focus on adding more weight. I focus on getting more tension in the glutes first. Have you ever done hip thrusts and felt them more in your legs or lower back than your glutes? This is a good workout. My advice however is that, the foam was not designed for hip thrust. It was made for squat. The abdomen is soft and the contact between the foam and the abdomen may eventually cause abdominal pain in future(not now). This could have been perfect if the foam was a hip thrust foam or something more protective. My opinion and advice though. Thank you. Besides the basics still works perfectly fine
